Our Management Committee

Swallow Risers Preschool and Out of School Club is a charity and is managed by a committee of volunteer parents/guardians. The management committee are the trustees are the legally registered provider of care at Swallows and as such is responsible to ensure the effective and efficient running of Setting. Without a management committee Swallow Risers would not be able to operate.

All parents are welcome to the the AGM held annually and nominate themselves for election onto the committee, or you can join the committee at any time during the academic year. Whoever you are and whatever you do the committee needs you - everyone is welcome.

The committee requires a wide range of skills from the members; everyone has something to offer! As well as the overseeing the management of the charity. The committee needs people who can help at and organise fundraising events, run stalls, make posters, write and edit documents, decoration, maintenance and gardening. But the most valuable of all is ideas, enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved

The committee is elected every year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Committee meetings are normally held termly with a longer break over the summer holiday.

If you are interested in joining the Committee please get in touch with one of the current members or you can email swallowrisers@sherriebabington.co.uk
